Long time no see!!

How is everybody out there?

I know I've been M.I.A for a long long long long long long long time....

So...

What had happen?

First of all, I am participating in two offline events this coming MAY.

Other things happenings in my life now is..

I now work for two jobs..

First one is..

Art & Craft Teacher

at Flying Colours

in Desa Sri Hartamas

while the..

Second one is..

Admin at a design company call

SSG Creative

who do a wide range of designing production.

All I can say is I benefit from both these two jobs..

As and Art & Craft teacher it helps me improve my fine art..

while working in a design company which teach me everything about designing is something I couldn't ask for more. It did not just help me with the course I am taking in college now but it also gave me an early exposure in designing field..

I am so grateful that I finally got jobs that suit me in every way..

Do you know it took me 3 weeks to finally get these two jobs?

Cause they are always busy till there is less time for interviews..so I have to keep going back & fro non-stop..

But all the effort is worth it..

the pay isn't bad at all..

I learn things from both related to what I am going to be..

Thank god :)

I finally tried oil painting for the first time..

and this is the first art piece I did...

paint it with a

palette knife....

I have few more art works to show..but my computer is is not helping me..

it's been lagging lately...

Mini Funiture

NEW!!
Mini Furni..
Here comes something new in Crafty Bites..
The recent craftI made and more to come :)
Somehow I got really addicted in making it..

All are less than 10cm..
Currently making a mini piano^^
A little difficult at the little piano keys though..hmm..
I am heading back hometown later just for a night..
Will be back tomorrow..
What do you think of this mini furniture?
I want to make more and more and more..
Maybe I will build my very own mini dream house..heheh :D
Yeah, why not?
That will be next personal project :)

Recently I just went for an interview for a Art&Craft Teacher job in a Art&Craft Center..I think..
I need part time job now cause materials are getting expensive and we need more as the new term begins..
I can't fully depend on my parents..things like laptop and other costly item are too much for them..

Let see how it goes..
I will work hard for it ;)

Let's hope the coming offline art events could earn me more pocket money :)

Cubism & other kinds of art?

I am currently having 2 weeks term break now..
Not so free tho..
Got extra orders on mug painting and recently just accepted a task to design a wall display design for someone...
Hence, my term break is like I am still having college projects to work on..
Phew..
Restless..

Well, it doesn't matter..this chances are rare.. ;)

Ouhkay,
Below is my last piece of artwork for my fundamental drawing class..
We were ask to do something related cubism & dadaism..
If you don't understand what kind of art it is, just try googling it :P
I find it interesting and it allows my ideas to flow creatively..
*Handphone camera, hence a blur pic..
Did on A1 size mounting board..
Materials used:
-Charcoal
-Soft Pastel
-Hard Pastel
-Acrylic (0 size brush)
-Gesso
-Poster colour

Ahh...a better view of it..
The mixed images on the right side are what we call Cubism and the rest are just my imagination..
There is a story behind this artwork..
We were ask to write a 500 words essay on our artwork,..
I submitted the essay and forgot to save a copy on my computer to share it with you guys..
I am so sorry, perhaps when I get it back when term 2 starts I will post it here :)
Hmm, briefly this piece is filled with feelings..
That is what other people opinion so far..

Paradise

Hi people,

I know I had been away for a very long time due to my final term work..
Yet, again I'm back..
(How many times have I said "I am back" here??)
Right..So, just recently I hand in my final term assignments.

All I can say is I am almost broke now..
Designing assignments is so costly!!
The materials especially..whoa...

No matter what..I am just glad it's finally done..
Term break is coming, yay!
I am glad for that too..
I'm going to focus more on Crafty Bites during my term break..
Yes I will..

Sparkles of life

Many says light shoo' darkness away..
Many says light brightens our day..
Many says light keep us away from loneliness..
and
many see light as their life..

Can you see happiness in this sparkles of lights?
I personally favour the last picture most..
An adult hand guiding a child to on how to hold the sparks correctly..
It's reflects a meaning that show a mother guiding her own child to the correct path..
Hence,
I see..
"A brighter light is guiding a new born light towards a brand new universe"

*The very frustrating happen today is I deleted a whole good collection of that fireworks shot in just one click! I am so furious cause I can't get those shots back..only managed to recover four of it but I got a few more good ones I wanted to post it here. It just disappear like that :(
It's alright, I believe I can take those shots again..time is all I needed now..
